Wind ows XP
· Open the Wind ows XP net work con nec tions.
Se lect the net work adap ter con nec ted to the pabx by pres sing the right mou se but ton. Then click »Sta tus«.
· The va lu es shown in the screen shot are set as de faults for the in iti al set tings of the PABX sys tem. De pen -
ding on how many clients (PCs) are con nec ted, the IP ad dress lies wit hin a ran ge from 192. 168. 1. 50 to 192.
168. 1. 69. When the se va lu es are dis play ed, the net work adap ter and the Wind ows net work set tings have
been con fi gu red cor rect ly. If ot her va lu es are shown click the button »Repair«.
· The va lue for the phy si cal ad dress is dif fe rent for each net work adap ter. The va lu es for the lea se de pend on
when the PC is swit ched on.
If other data continues to be shown this may be due to the following reasons:
· Chan ges have al rea dy been made to the in iti al set ting for the PABX sys tem in the Pro fes sio nal Con fi gu ra -
tor.
· The Wind ows net work con fi gu ra ti on for the client (PCs) does not cor re spond to the fac to ry set tings De -
fault setting.
· Faul ty in stal la ti on of the net work adap ter in the client (PC), or the net work adap ter is not con nec ted pro -
per ly with the PABX sys tem. Check your in stal la ti on as des cri bed in the operator’s ma nu al for the PABX
sys tem (In stal la ti on and Commissioning section).
· The TCP/IP pro to col is not in stal led on the PC, or it has no link to the net work adap ter con nec ted to the
PABX sys tem.
